Wild mix of players at Benito Juarez Stadium

Wild mix of players at Benito Juarez Stadium

7 mexican soccer players and several other players from countries like Tunesia, Peru, United States, England, Spain, Germany and France played this past Saturday at Benito Juarez Stadium.

The group quickly split into two wildly mixed teams in order to start the casual soccer game. While Sport12 was making some video clips in the background for the upcoming crowdfunding project, the teams got into the game scoring several incredible goals on both sides. With newcomer Martin from Germany team A was happy to have a reliable and skilled goal keeper. Also the other newcomers like Mario and Diego from Mexico and Jens from Germany brought some more skill into the diverse group. With Jens from Germany the international group has its new head member. He will be celebrating his 49thbirthday in a few days… Alles Gute zum Geburtstag Jens!

“No shows” of the game:

Kyle, Cesar Zorilla, Edward, Adrian, Pepe, Luis Alberto

Unfortunately several guys that signed into the game event on Facebook did not show up at the game (no shows). This meant that the players that did show up had to cover the costs of those players plus were not able to play on the whole pitch. We will establish some ground rules in order to guarantee the reliability of the future games.

This Wednesday Jakeventus has a competitive 7-a-side game against the team from PwC. There are still a few spots open. For the rest there will be the 11-a-side game as usual on Saturday and the 7-a-side games on Sunday.
