Ricardo brings French team back to reality

Ricardo brings French team back to reality with double pack

Saturday, October 5th: The undisputed French team had their next game against a wildly mixed team of players from Venezuela (Ferdinand & Raymond), France (Edward), Argentina (Niko), Germany (Kim), Brazil (Danilo), United States (Mike) and of course Mexico (Angel, Javier, Daniel & Ricardo). After having won the second Copa de Naciones and having beaten the famous team of Mannichester FC, they might have thought a game against a team of players from all over the world would be a piece of cake. The Internationals showed them otherwise:

11 a side games are back!

Finally we enter the big pitch again!

We are happy to announce that after the summer break the prestigious 11 a side games are back. Captain Manni (Internacionalitos) and Wen (Mexicanitos) will be organizing their teams every Saturday to compete against each other.

Since July 2018, both teams played 20 times against each other, with Internacionalitos being able to win 10 games and Mexicanitos winning 7 games. The past three games were all won by the locals though.

We will kick-off the games this Saturday, September 21st with a friendly game between team Mannichester and Team Francia. From next week onwards, the games between Internacionalitos and Mexicanitos will take place.

Mexicans with Hattrick

Mexicans with a Hattrick – 3 consecutive wins in a row!

Team Mexico wins for the third time in a row against team Internacionalitos at the weekly 11 a side games at Benito Juarez Stadium. This time, the local players received some valuable help from 4 players from a team that played the game before to complement the team. The core of the international team this time were the 5 Venezuelan players, accounting for about 50% of the team. While last week the Venezuelan players made the difference for the Mexican team (helping them out to get a full squad), this time their influence was not as decisive:

4th victory in a row for Internacionalitos

The first Clásico of July brought an interesting game between the Mexicans and team Internacionalitos. With Chilean Julian fulfilling his wish to play with his Mexican sons for ones after having played with the internationals for the past two games. With Kim’s father from Germany and our top Sport12 tennis organizer Imke from Germany as well, the players had two new spectators who analyzed the game from the stands. Internacionalitos consisted of players from 8 different nationalities.

Both teams relied on a traditional 4-4-2 formation:

MEXICANS ARE BACK!

Saturday 12thof January: The Mexicans win 3:1 against Internacionalitos with goals of Beto and Javier (2). It was the last victory of the Mexicans in El Clásico against the Internacionalitos. Five months later, on yesterday’s Saturday 11-a-side game, the Mexicans reconquered the thrown again. They managed to turn a 0:1 initial defeat into a 2:1 victory!

Newcomers Guillermo from Mexico and Aymeric and Asa from France and the US helped out the Mexican and International team respectively. This week, the Mexican team almost consisted a 100% of Mexican players. Only Venezuelan midfielder Raymond complemented the Mexican team, in an impressive manner.

Hurricane Internacionalitos runs through Mexicanos

For the first time in a long time central midfielder Deyban from Portugal came back to the Saturday games at Benito Juarez Stadium. Captain Manni took the right midfielder position, with English Jon dropping down one position into the central defending position next to Nabil from France.

Mexicans got support from Japanese moody striker Fumi, newcomer Ignacio from Argentina and German central backs Kim and Jens:

Venezuelan subs make the difference

Both goals of the game created by Venezuelan subs Emil and Raymond

The 11thgame between team Mexicanos and team Internacionalitos had no looser. Both teams tried hard to improve their statistics in the 11thencounter of El Clásico. The Mexicans received support from Niko, Fumi and Raymond from Argentina, Japan and Venezuela. Newcomer Gunther played for the first time for the Mexicans, occupying the striker position next to Ricardo. Internacionalitos had 4 players from France and Venezuela each, complemented by Mike, Manni and Edward form the US, India and Kenya. Due to having an overload of offensive players, captain Manny decided to go for an attacking 3-4-3 system. Mexicans relied on their 4-4-2, with captain Wen taking the “sweeper” position:
